ISLEX is an on-again, off-again project whose goal is to provide dictionaries suitable for automatic speech recognition in the widest possible variety of circumstances. Our original English Pronouncing Dictionary released in 2008 and 2017 was culled from open-source dictionaries including CMUdict and Moby and has about 300,000 entries.
Other folks (including Mark) eventually expanded this into a much larger multi-lingual dictionary project .
